Karen Swan is a Sunday Times Top Three and International best-selling author. Her novels sell all over the world. Karen writes two books a year. Her books are known for their evocative locations and Karen sees travel as vital research for each story. She loves to set deep, complicated love stories within twisting plots.
As well as her contemporary novels, Karen is also writing a historical series called The Wild Isle Series. It is set around the dramatic evacuation of the Scottish island St Kilda in the summer of 1930 and is a four book series. The Last Summer and The Stolen Hours are Sunday Times and Globe and Mail bestsellers. The Independent named The Last Summer the Best Historical Romance of 2022. The third in the series, The Lost Lover came out in hardback in July 2024, and the final book of the series will be published in July 2025.
