The book is a high-concept thriller in which the events leading up to a deadly car crash are told through three friends’ conflicting perspectives. The book follows four high-flying friends as they head home from their university reunion in the countryside. They all met 10 years earlier while studying at Oxford and the quartet "have since each built careers based on deception": Kate is a criminal defence lawyer; Josh is a corporate crisis manager; Lila is a tabloid journalist; and Tom is a reality TV producer.

The following morning, three members of the group wake up with scratches and secrets. The final member is missing – dead in a wrecked car at the bottom of a ravine. They each have wildly different stories of the events of that fateful night.

The book will be published in print, digital and audiobook formats in June 2027.
