This special Dutch children’s book prize is voted for entirely by young readers aged 8–10, who read all the nominated books and rank their favourites. Chosen by the very audience the book was written for, the award is a wonderful recognition of Ben’s storytelling and its popularity with young readers in the Netherlands.
