Alan Titchmarsh's gardener's almanac bought by Hodder & Stoughton

Hodder & Stoughton has acquired world rights for The Gardener’s Almanac: A Treasury of Garden Knowledge and Inspiration Through the Year by Alan Titchmarsh through Luigi Bonomi at LBA. It will publish in October 2022.

The nation’s favourite gardener brings us a treasure trove of gardening knowledge, seasonal advice and inspiration. With Alan’s own delightful illustrations, there is also a month by month cornucopia of floral facts, along with wildlife to spot, projects to do, gardens to visit, poems to inspire, and much more besides. It will be the perfect Christmas gift for every gardener, and a rich resource for enjoying every day, month, and year in the garden.

Alan Titchmarsh is known to millions through his career as a television presenter for over 40 years, including hosting Love Your Weekend, Love Your Garden, Ground Force, Gardeners’ World, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and ITV’s Spring Into Summer. He was made an MBE in the millennium New Year Honours list and holds the Victoria Medal of Honour, the Royal Horticultural Society’s highest award. Alan has written more than forty gardening books, as well as eleven novels and three volumes of memoir. His previous book of garden poetry – Marigolds, Myrtle and Moles – was a top ten bestseller in 2020.
