Sarah Johnson is a journalist and author. She started her journalism career in Vietnam where she lived for two and a half years. She has been at the Guardian for eight years covering public services, the people working within them and those they help, both in the UK and abroad. She focuses mainly on healthcare and has a particular interest in mental health.
When she's not writing, she enjoys photography, hiking, tag rugby, learning languages and foraging to make jam, chutney and various liqueurs.
