Sarah Alderson
Sarah is a London born, LA-based author and screenwriter. She has published over a dozen books, including the YA novels Hunting Lila, Losing Lila, Fated, The Sound, Out of Control and Conspiracy Girl (all Simon & Schuster). She also writes women’s fiction under the pen name Mila Gray. Her novels in this genre include Come Back To Me, Stay With Me and Run Away With Me (also published by Simon & Schuster). Her first adult thriller, Friends Like These, was published by Mulholland Books. Having spent most of her life in London, Sarah quit her job in 2009 and took off on a round the world trip with her husband and daughter on a mission to find a new place to call home (a journey that was later turned into a book - Can We Live Here - which was published by Blink in 2015). After almost a year spent travelling the world, they settled in Bali where they lived for five years before they returned to London. They spent one year there before the rain and cold got to them and they moved again, this time to California where they now live happily and where Sarah works predominantly as a screenwriter, while still managing to write one or two novels a year. She is currently writing on the CBS show SWAT, and has several projects in development for TV and film. She is represented for her literary work by Amanda Preston at LBA and for screenwriting and books to film by Mady Niel at 42 (UK) and Will Watkins and Howie Tanenbaum at ICM (US).
