Lizzy Barber read English at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.
Having previously dabbled in acting and film development, she has spent the last eight years working in the restaurant business with her brother, heading up their brand and marketing department.
Her first novel, My Name Is Anna, won the Daily Mail and Random House First Novel Prize 2017.
She lives in Islington with her husband and son.
