Emily “Dubious” Jupitus, who also goes by Mama Goblin online, is primarily an entertainer and content creator for the Emily Dubious TikTok channel, which currently boasts over 500k followers. She likes to promote unapologetic joy, enthusiasm and curiosity, and the embracement of a more chaotic approach to life and the world around us.

On top of this, she is a freelance artist and published illustrator, working primarily with digital art in a variety of styles - check out her portfolio page to see examples of her range.

Emily spent some years doing illustration work for QI Ltd, the research team behind the popular BBC comedy show ‘QI’. Namely she was the illustrator for their books “Funny You Should Ask” & “222 QI Answers to Your Quite Ingenious Questions” as well as illustrating various assets for their social media, TV & video productions. She also spent many years as a “QI Elf”, doing research & writing for the show & their publications.

Books, TV… what about music? Well, she also has that covered! Emily is a member of the up and coming Dark Folk Fantasy band, Fae as Folk, in which she acts as Compere, Storyteller and Entertainer. When they aren’t performing, she is their Graphic Designer, designing merch, posters and social media assets.
