I studied English Literature as an undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh, where I won the Saintsbury Prize, then did an MA in English and American Fiction at the University of York. I trained as a copy editor at Mills & Boon, and also worked for many years behind the scenes in television, while working as a freelance editor and reader in my spare time. I was one of the founders of LBA in 2005. I represent a boutique list of authors, and have closely edited many of our most successful titles.
